NARS Audrey Dupe!

In this post i am comparing 2 colors to the NARS audacious lipstick audrey which is a muted berry red color. The 2 dupes are very close to this color. One is MAC D for Danger which is a matte finish and a slightly deeper color and the other is Chanel Rouge Coco shine lipstick in Dialogue 84. The Chanel is the same color in a glossier finish. I will attatch the pics i took comparing them.

on the left is Chanel Dialogue. On the right is Nars Audrey.

Out of curiosity i also compared it to NARS Vera since they all belong to the same color family. Vera is slightly more purple toned whearas Audrey is more red toned. 

On the left is NARS Vera and on the right is Audrey. 

Now here are the swatches of Audrey compared with D for Danger

Plz ignore the swatches at the top as they were some lipsticks i tried out before. the bottom 2 swatches are audrey and d for danger and they are 96% similar. Hence mac has a good dupe for nars audrey. 

If you love a moisturising and glossy finish, buy the Chanel lipstick. If you love a matte finish buy the Mac lipstick. The color is already a dupe 😊

MAC retro and brick o la dupes!

In this post i have some dupes for mac lipsticks. One of the mac lipsticks is a limited edition shade called the real fouz which might not be available anymore. But it is a beautiful dusty rose colour and a very unviversally flattering shade so i thought i would suggest some dupes for it. Below is a photo where i have swatched the lipsticks in natural light to show the true colour. Dupe for mac retro and brick o la is nyx empowered which is a very very similar color to both the lipsticks and a beautiful color for medium to dark skintones. Dupe for the real fouz lipstick is maybelline touch of spice which is just a little bit lighter than the real fouz. Both the dupes are cheaper alternatives to the mac lipsticks!! Mac spice dupe

There are 2 total dupes in my collection for the all time famous Mac spice lip pencil. One of them is an expensive option so if you already have it you dont need to get mac spice. And that is the Huda beauty lip contour in the shade trendsetter.
another dupe i have is the cheapest option and is the Bourjois lip pencil in shade number 11. I will show a photo below so that you can see how similar they are.

MAC SPICE AND WHIRL LIP LINER DUPES (MAC TAUPE DUPE TOO)

Hi there! In today's post I will tell you 2 dupes i found in my massive lipliner collection for the mac lip liners in spice and whirl which are my all time fav nude shades.

In the picture shown below I was trying out my mac taupe lipstick and trying to find lipliners that could match with it and some other ones too. I was honestly thinking of shelling out my money to buy mac spice lip liner but thank God I didn't. I found out I have 3 good dupes for mac spice with me already which would go perfectly with mac taupe.

In the picture below i have circled the 2 closest and best dupes for mac spice which are Huda beauty TRENDSETTER lip contour pencil and Colourpop 951 lippie pencil. The Huda beauty one is an expensive option but if you already have this you dont need to get mac spice anymore.  The Colourpop lippie pencil is 5$ and is the cheapest in my opinion. another dupe swatched right below the big mac taupe swatch is Kylie CANDY K lip liner. but that is another expensive option. so if you already have any of these 3 you DONT need mac spice lip pencil.

Also i wanted to mention that these are also dupes for Mac Taupe lipstick too since they are the same colour as the lipstick.

These are budget friendly alternatives to the expensive and famous Mac Whirl.

left one is ESSENCE COSMETICS LIP LINER IN LOVELY FRAPUCCINO

RIGHT ONE IS NYX MAUVE LIP LINER. As you can clearly see they both are similar in colour to Mac Whirl. The ESSENCE one is the cheapest option.

BEST NUDE LIPSTICK! Gosh velvet touch matte lipsticks(dupe for mac)

Today i will be reviewing a brand that i had no idea would become one of my favourite brand for lipsticks. I am a self confessed lipstick fanatic and no amount of lipsticks is ever enough for me. I love reds and neutral shades the most. I have plenty of lipsticks from all the brands you can possibly think of except the loubotin lipsticks just because i believe they are wayy too overpriced for the quality. The brand that i will be reviewing today is GOSH cosmetics. I have two shades from their Velvet Touch Matt lipstick collection- 003 Antique and 013 Cinammon. I just bought them at a shopping spree in bahrain.they cost me 4.8 BD which roughly amounts to £9.
First of all the packaging is super chic and feels like an expensive one as you can see from the photo below.

Second, the colours are beautiful nudes for my skintone NC 35. Antique is a pinky brown which is very close to Mac's velvet teddy but just leaning more towards the brown side. Cinammon is another beautiful pinky brown shade with a red undertone but darker than Antique. Both these shades look fabulous on fair to medium skin tones. I will show a swatch of both these shades alongside Velvet teddy below.

The formula is amazing for a matte lipstick. It isnt drying at all and isnt too shiny either. Its just the right amount of matte, enough to not dry out your lips. The pigmentation is amazing with just one swipe. There are some other really pretty nude colours but i didnt buy them since i already have similar ones. I would suggest medium to darker skin tones to try out Raisin and Chestnut. They are beautiful nude colours. I will swatch Velvet teddy against Antique to show you guys the difference, although its very subtle. I have a lot of nude lipsticks from Mac since i knew Mac way before i knew this brand. But comparing the quality and the price point i feel this brand really stands out. Overall i highly recommend you try out one of these lipsticks or any product from their makeup range and see for yourself if you love it. I can guarantee that you will love the lipsticks though. 😊

Dupe for KYLIE CANDY K LIPKIT

Hey there everyone! its been a long time since i posted anything since i got really busy with my college and forgot about my blog! But today i have an interesting post for you!
since the kylie lipkits are 30 usd it is pretty expensive and i figured i could find dupes for it from the huge stash of lipsticks i own.
And i did!
also i noticed that the first formulation of kylie candy k is different from the second formulation.
the second one is way lighter than the first one. on my nc 35 skin the first one is a good nude but the second one washes me out.
 below ill post swatches of comparisons i made with different lipsticks-
also many people claim colourpop clueless is a dupe for candy k..honestly it is far from being a dupe..there is no similarity whatsoever between the two.

the first colour on the right is a perfect nude for my skintone but i had no idea kylie changed the colour for candy k and ended up getting this lighter shade :(
clueless is in no way a good dupe.
but there is another lipstick from too faced in the shade sell out.below is the swatch for it against these-

the one on the top is too faced melted matte lipstick in shade sell out which is a close dupe for the candy k. it costs 21 usd and you can get this if you dont want to buy the candy k lipstick. i have to admit the kylie lipkits are pretty drying on the lips but the formula of the too faced is way more comfortable and doesnt dry out your lips at all.
so i would suggest to go for the too faced lipstick if you dont prefer drying liquid lipsticks.

review of pineapple matte lipstick shade 103

Today's post is another lipstick review by a lesser know brand but extremely good one! This brand is called "PINEAPPLE".Apparently it is some turkish brand but their lipsticks are available here so i puchased them at a mall.It was a matte lipstick and I just have 2 matte lipsticks so I added this to my collection.I mostly have pure reds and maroons and this colour is a mix of nude and pink so i thought I'd give this shade a try.The shade number is 103.The packaging is a matte black plastic case.I will be inserting photos for a better understanding.

well,the lipstick has intense pigmentation right from the first swipe and also is completely matte but not too moisturising,I tend to have chapped lips and i need to apply lip balm before applying this or this will reveal the cracks very prominently.But the color is very good,it suits my skin tone too so i like it, one more thing- it has a very strong scent which some people might not like..its a good scent but strong too.

it is a pretty color for all skintones. Overall i would say this is a good quality lipstick (compareable to nyx ones) and if this is available at your country then go ahead and try it out!
